Mr. O'Brien
Hi, I’m Patrick O’Brien and I teach 5th grade. This is my second year at Imagine at Sullivant, and prior to that, I taught in South-Western City Schools for 35 years.
I grew up in Toledo, Ohio and attended St. John’s Jesuit High School (1971), earned my bachelor’s degree at the University of Toledo (1975), and my master’s degree at The Ohio State University (1979). I earned board certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in 2002, and was designated as an Ohio Master Teacher in 2003.
I live in Grove City with my wife of 29 years, Julia, and our three sons. Jack is 21 and a college undergraduate studying education, and twins, Kevin and Jamison are 18, and are seniors at Grove City High School. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, watching college sports, and playing tennis.
